The founders of Graph Theory Agency have been building agencies and working in other people’s agencies (see the holding company racket) for almost thirty-five years.
When we came back together in 2025 around a single client – a non-profit start-up which is thriving – we knew we didn’t have it in us to build and grow a traditional digital business / marketing services ‘agency’.
But there was that word staring back at us – agency – a word which had never been the promise or the business model of the past four generations of agencies.
Real, material agency as a deliverable. What would that look and feel like?…
Agency as an engineerable outcome for and with our clients – where their organization achieves not just presence, not just reach, not just growth.
Agency. The means or mode of acting with self-determination – instrumentality.
Agency as shared force and affect, emanating from within an organization and all its stakeholders outward where world-changing outcomes occur.
A force sufficient – if we get it right, together – to power the building of the better worlds we need to start building NOW if we’re to make it through these chaotic times to the other side.
